Windows 11で何も考えずに、Microsoft StoreからUbuntuをインストールしたところ、以下のエラーが出ました。

書いてあるとおり https://aka.ms/wslinstall を見てみて、それに従ってPowerShellで wsl --install を実行し、完了後にPCを再起動したところ、Ubuntuが起動しました。
